The data warehouse is implemented in a heterogeneous operating system environment running on a variety of networked 32 bit and 64 bit AMD Opteron and Intel based computers.  Database servers run Windows 2003 Server Enterprise Edition x64 [3]; file servers run Red Hat Fedora Core Linux [1].  All servers are accessed from both Windows XP [2] and Red Hat Linux clients. Database servers run SQL Server 2005 Enterprise x64 Edition [4] and utilize components from SQL, Integration Services, and Analysis Services.
